Clint's Story
Born and raised in Durban, South Africa from very humble beginnings, Clint was always a natural athlete. Excelling in cricket and soccer, he eventually found tennis and immediately fell in love with the sport. Having first picked up a racquet at age 9, Clint rose to number one in South Africa by age 16 through grit, determination, and a fierce passion for the sport. Clint was lucky enough to have some extremely good coaches in his corner, who would often look past his parent's inability to pay for lessons, a kindness which he is forever grateful for and will continue to pass on. Achieving a personal best of 22 in the World in the Juniors, Clint went on to play D1 tennis at the University of South Alabama for 4 years. After his successful college tennis career, he ended up coaching tennis in Connecticut & New York, eventually finding his way down to beautiful South West Florida where he co-founded Fort Myers Tennis with his wife, Sarah. Together, they built Fort Myers Tennis into a powerhouse developing local talent and attracting players from far and wide. Today, Coach Clint maintains an extremely loyal client base with a waitlist a year in advance for a spot with him after school. Now, players from other parts of the world can access his deep knowledge through virtual coaching.
